Credit note

A credit note is a document issued by a seller to a buyer to process a refund, either for the full amount of an invoice or a lesser amount for a partial refund.

From the point of view of your customer, an invoice is considered a negative amount, as it substracts money from their bank account. That's why credit notes always have positive amounts in Quaderno: you are returning money to your customer.

To show negative amounts in your credit notes, you need to customize your document's template yourself. You can learn how to modify your template here, then follow this tutorial.
