Connect Peppol to Quaderno
Currently, Peppol functionality is available exclusively to companies residing in Belgium. For other regions, please contact our support team to discuss upcoming availability.
Electronic invoicing via the Peppol network is the global standard for secure B2B and B2G transactions, enabling different accounting systems to "talk" to each other directly.
By using a certified Access Point, Quaderno transmits your invoices as structured data rather than static PDFs, allowing your customers' ERP systems to process them automatically without manual data entry or human error.
To maintain this high level of security and prevent fraud, Peppol operates as a "closed" network. This requires a one-time Know Your Customer (KYC) verification to confirm your identity and legal authority to represent your business. Once verified, you enter the Peppol "trust circle," ensuring that every document sent or received is legally compliant and instantly recognized by partners and government agencies worldwide.
⚙️ How to Activate Peppol
To begin the configuration, log in to your Quaderno dashboard and follow these steps:
- Go to the Integrations page and select Peppol from the list of available connections.
- To comply with international anti-fraud regulations, you must upload the following two documents to verify the account owner:
- Proof of Identity: A high-quality scan or photo of a valid passport or national identity card.
- Proof of Representation: A legal document proving you have the authority to act on behalf of the company (e.g., signing rights, power of attorney, or company registry extract).
- Review and accept the terms of use, then click Save.
⏳ What Happens Next?
Once you submit your documents, our compliance team begins the manual review process.
- Review Timeline: Verification typically takes 24–48 hours.
- Approval: You will receive a notification email once verified. Your account will be marked "Peppol-ready," and you can immediately start sending automated e-invoices.
- Rejection: If a document is blurry or the information is incomplete, our team will contact you via email to request the specific details needed to finalize your setup.
Once the application is approved, Quaderno will begin sending your B2B invoices to the Peppol network.
💸 Peppol Sending Fees
To maintain a certified Peppol Access Point and ensure secure delivery, Quaderno applies a small transaction fee for e-invoices sent through the network.
- Fee: €0.05 EUR per successfully sent e-invoice.
- Transparent Billing: You will only be charged for invoices successfully delivered via Peppol. Standard PDF invoices sent via email incur no additional fee.
Please note that Quaderno will not charge any fees for sent e-invoices until the end of March 2026 , allowing you to try our e-invoicing solution for free.
