Creating an invoice

To create an invoice, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the invoices page and click Create invoice.
  2. In the Customer data section, select an existing contact or type a name to create a new one. Verify the billing address — Quaderno uses it to calculate the correct tax rate.
  3. Add one or more line items in the Items section — enter a description, quantity, and unit price for each.
  4. Review the tax calculation. If the rate looks wrong, check the contact's billing address and your tax rates.
  5. Optionally, click Need to add more details? to set a due date, subject, or PO number.
  6. Click Save Invoice.

Once saved, an invoice cannot be edited. If you need to fix a mistake, use the Correct option.
