Connecting Shopify

Quaderno supports automated billing, VAT, GST, and sales tax compliance for Shopify stores. Any time you process a successful order or refund, your store will automatically send the information to Quaderno, which then generates a beautiful invoice or credit note for your customer.

You will also have access to useful reports to understand your business and simplify your tax filing, and you will start receiving tax registration alerts when your business faces new tax collection obligations.

To connect your Shopify account to Quaderno, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure there are not any payment processors used from your Shopify account connected to Quaderno, to avoid duplicate invoices.
  2. Visit apps.shopify.com/quaderno, log in to your Shopify store, and click the Install button.
  3. Make sure you set up your Shopify tax rates correctly.
  4. Optionally, enable the collection of tax IDs for B2B sales. If you're in the Shopify Plus plan, you can also validate tax IDs in your checkout.

Please note that only full refunds are supported. You can still issue partial refunds manually from Quaderno.
