Changing your legal entity
Each Quaderno account can only be associated with one legal entity. When changing your legal entity – from sole trader to company, or from one company to another – you must create a new Quaderno account.
These are the steps needed for this transition:
- Create a new Quaderno account by following these steps. Don't modify your current account, keep it with your current legal entity status.
- When you’re ready to start invoicing with your new entity, disconnect any integrations from your old Quaderno account and connect them to your new account.
- Cancel or pause your old account on the billing details page in your old account.
Just need to update your business address within the same country? You can do this on the addresses page. You wouldn’t need a new account for this.
