When you work with product prices including tax in WooCommerce, the price customers see can change based on their location. This happens because WooCommerce, by default, removes your store's base tax and then adds the tax rate for the customer's specific country.
For example, if your product costs $10.00 (including your store's 20% tax), a customer from a 0% tax country might see a price of $8.33. Conversely, a customer from a 10% tax country would see a price of $9.16. This price fluctuation can be confusing for some customers and complicated for your business.

If you prefer to display and charge prices that already include tax in your WooCommerce store, follow these steps to configure tax-inclusive pricing with the WooCommerce Quaderno Tax Automation plugin.

  1. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Tax options.

    Steps 1 4 tax options

  2. Select the option Yes, I will enter prices inclusive of tax  for the field Prices entered with tax
  3. Select the option Including tax  for the fields Display prices in the shop  and Display prices during cart and checkout  .
  4. Click Save changes .
  5. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Standard rates.

Steps 5 7 standard tax rate for your country

  6. Enter ONLY the standard rate for your store's tax jurisdiction. For example, if your store is based in UK, you must set up 20% VAT. WooCommerce will use this information to determine the taxable base of your product prices.
  7. Click Save changes  .
