Connecting Stripe to Quaderno
Connecting Stripe to Quaderno automates your invoicing and tax compliance. Every successful payment or refund via Stripe automatically generates an invoice or credit note with a full tax breakdown, keeping your tax reports up to date and your records ready for Quaderno's tax filing service.
A couple of things to know before you connect:
- Stripe sends Quaderno the final charge amount including taxes. Quaderno calculates tax as part of that price, not on top of it.
- When using Stripe's Link with Checkout, B2B sales are not supported. The customer's tax ID won't be passed to Quaderno.
Connecting your Stripe account
To connect Stripe to Quaderno, follow these steps:
- Go to the integrations page in your Quaderno account.
- Select
Stripe. - On the Stripe-hosted page, log in or create a Stripe account.
- Click
Connect my Stripe account.
Your Stripe account is now connected. From this point on, every successful payment or refund will automatically create an invoice or credit note in Quaderno.
When connecting a third-party platform via Stripe, check that the platform sends all the data needed to issue correct invoices and generate accurate tax reports. If it doesn't, contact your platform's support team.
