Customizing product descriptions on invoices

When using integrations that integrate via payment processors, Quaderno will receive the information the payment processor forwards to us.

There might be cases where the line item description isn’t appearing correctly on the invoices. You can always manually modify the product description in Quaderno, but to fix all cases your platform must send the information into a supported field.

Here’s how to fix it for good:

  1. Create the product with the same SKU that you use on your sales platform. Make sure your sales platform or payment processor is sending the SKU to Quaderno in a supported field. You may need to contact their support team!
  2. Change the product description field in Quaderno to the description you’d like to appear on future invoices.
  3. Go to the preferences page and enable Use saved product descriptions as invoice line items.
