Customizing product descriptions on invoices
When using platforms that integrate via a payment processor like PayPal or Stripe, there might be cases where the line item description doesn’t appear correctly on the invoices. This happens when the 3rd platform doesn't send all the product info to the payment processor, which in turn just forwards the details to Quaderno.
You can always manually modify the product description in Quaderno, but here's how to fix all future cases for good:

Create the product with the same
SKUthat you use on your sales platform. Make sure your sales platform is sending theSKUto your payment processor:

Change the product description field in its Quaderno product page, to the description you’d like to appear on future invoices.

Go to the preferences page and enable
Use saved product descriptions as invoice line items.This method only works for Stripe Subscriptions or transactions created via the Stripe API where invoice creation is enabled.
If you are using Stripe Payment Links or the Checkout web builder for one-time payments, Stripe does not share the product SKU with third-party apps like Quaderno. In these cases, it is not possible to automatically sync the product description using this method.
