Managing products
Your products are the goods, services, and digital products that you sell.
Creating your list of products in Quaderno is optional, but we recommend doing it at least in the following scenarios:
- You're selling different types of products with different tax rates.
- You want to keep track of your product sales across multiple channels.
- You need to customize your product descriptions on your invoices.
- You want to simplify your Business Intelligence using our products report.
When your integrations send a product SKU that is not listed on your Quaderno account and does not include enough product details, the default product type and tax code will be applied as a fallback.
Maintaining your product listing updated helps Quaderno calculate all taxes flawlessly!
Creating products
To create a new product manually, follow these steps:
- Go to the products page and click
Create product. - Enter the product
SKU, along with additional details. - Click
Create product.
Want to add many products at once? You can add a bunch of existing products using the import products option!
Editing products
You can edit your existing products to change their descriptions, prices, and any other details:
- Go to the products page and click the product name you want to change.
- In the dropdown menu, click
Edit. - Modify the product details.
- Click
Save changesto confirm your changes to the product.
Not all platforms are capable of sending the product’s tax code on a transaction basis. That's why setting each product’s tax code is a good practice when managing your products in Quaderno.
